Arvum Nova ….. Where Tollers rule

Arvum Nova - Latin - means in a broad sense new country, and, in the context of our kennel name, also the land of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. It is an imaginary country ruled by Tollers. It is a place where they live in harmony with their human servants.

Is the latter imaginary? No, not at all. Our domestic dogs are in fact totally dependent on humans for their feeding, care, health, education and so on.

Purchasing a dog is also a commitment for the life of the dog. For us humans, dogs are a part of our lives; for the dogs we are their whole life. It is up to us people to ensure that this life is as good as possible.

If we take good care of our Tollers, they will reign over us with love and respect.
